LG has been rumored to be launching something big, premium, and quite possibly foldable. We’ve been hearing the rumors for quite some time, and with the concept of bendable smartphones on the horizon it seems as like the LG G Flex 4 will be the first. With the likes of Samsung, HTC, and others already working on the same concept, it seems as though the G Flex 4 will once again lead in innovation.
In the following preview we have disclosed all there is to know on the new LG G Flex 4 rumors, specs, features, concept, price, preorders, price, and release date info.
LG G Flex 4 Rumors
The bulk of the LG G Flex 4 rumors have been pretty consistent with just over a year until we see the reality with the 1st quarter of 2017 just around the corner. The many rumors surrounding the new concept consist of a foldable display, indestructible screen, 3D viewing, and a 4K display.
Most of the rumors and leaks surround introducing something truly innovative while giving consumers a smartphone that will allow for better functionality, and enhance productivity for business and personal uses alike. The rumored high quality display, 3D camera and cinematography, and a dual screen foldable display.
Other rumors include a faster processor, dual micro SD card slots, and all of the top camera features. We’re also the self-healing back which has become one of the best features in the G Flex series will be significantly improved, and may encompass the entire phone. We’ll continue to update you with all the new G Flex 4 rumors and we’ll be getting down to the very truth of the matter of things to come.
LG G Flex 4 Specs
The LG G Flex 4 specs looks to be much improved over the previous versions which is amazing when considering what we’ve already seen in the series. Already known as the pioneer in the smartphone industry, we wouldn’t expect to see anything less in the next installment. Everything packed in will be centered on making the 4th installment faster, have more memory options, sport two amazing camera, and it’ll be more feature rich than any G Flex we’ve seen before.
Starting with the display, we’re expecting to see the first LG smartphone to feature a 4K display. There were rumors the 1st would be the G Flex 2, but we now know this isn’t the case as the upcoming 2017 flagships will probably be the first to feature the highest in visually quality. The 4096 x 2160 screen resolution will bring out the very best in 3D quality that is believed to be available for both viewing and cinematography.
The 4K display will be possible with an octa-core Snapdragon Qualcomm processor that is expected to be clocked at over 2.8 GHz. This will allow the handset to run much cooler which will provide a faster, and more efficient G Flex 4. There’s also rumored to be plenty of storage options including a 32, 64 and 128 GB, and we’re hoping to see two micro SD card slots of expandable memory of 128 GB each.
Both front and back cameras will certainly be getting an upgrade as we’re hearing leaks on a 21 MP rear and 7 MP front-facing camera. While the G Flex 4 camera specs won’t exactly blow you away, it will be comparable with other flagship smartphones. An upgraded version of OIS, auto laser focus, and a wider camera lens on the front camera are also expected.

LG G Flex 4 Features
The LG G 4 Flex 4 features will take the best aspects of the previous models, and will be adding something new. We’re hoping the true bendable display will be incorporated which will bring not one, but two viewing displays. Fully open, we could see a 6” display with an option of having two independent viewing displays. While the rumors are out for the foldable display in the G Flex 4, this has yet to be confirmed.
Other notable features on the way include a fingerprint scanner, wireless charging, rapid charging feature, and much more. Early rumors suggest an eye scanner would be built in, but based on the leaks so far we almost certain this won’t happen in the 2017 G Flex 4.
Probably the single most important feature that we’re crossing our fingers for is a much improved self-healing feature. The original G Flex brought forth the first of its kind giving users the ability to heal the phone from scratches and blemishes, and it was even better in the G Flex 2 and G Flex 3. In the 4th release we’re hearing that not only the back will boast the self-healing feature, but the entire phone will be too, including the display.
We’re still not certain how this will happen, but some are saying the phone itself will be somewhat indestructible. This sounds like something too good to be true which is why we’ll be sure to get the latest info on all features of the upcoming LG G Flex 4.
LG G Flex 4 Concept
The new LG G Flex 4 concept will continue the trend of creating something truly unique, and will once again be something innovative. It’s also looking like LG will be introducing many more specific apps that will increase the functionality between the new phone and other LG and other 3rd party gadgets. With many consumers looking to smartwatch technology and other mobile products, expect to see much more with other mobile gateway products. Many are already calling the new smartphone concept something that will rival that of all the top upcoming smartphones of 2017.
